The NCSO narcotics unit supported by our criminal investigation division has just made two arrests in the 700 block of South 42nd street Corsicana. While serving two arrest warrants for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon the officers located and seized a quantity of methamphetamine, marihuana and $1,315 cash. The charges are enhanced because the location is a drug free zone near Navarro Elementary School. An asset forfeiture is being filed against the cash. 

I commend these officers for not only serving the arrest warrants on very serious charges but for also getting the drugs out of the school zone.
