Animal welfare Call

12/18/2019

This morning the NCSO responded to an animal welfare call in the 300 block of Oak Valley Lane Corsicana.
The complaint was in reference to numerous calls of cattle and dogs at the location being neglected or abused.
An NCSO animal warden, and CID detective responded to the area and obtained verbal consent to search the property by the owner.
The Deputies observed the animals in question at the location and conducted an evaluation of their current body condition, food source, water and shelter.
The Deputies reported that no animal abuse or neglect was occurring at the location as the animals had an adequate source of food, water and shelter at the location. The animals body condition was also deemed adequate.
I also stopped at the location while deputies were on scene conducting the evaluation and I concur with the Deputies finding in this case.
This case is closed as unfounded at this time.
