Burn Ban in Effect

Effective Immediately - County Judge H.M. Davenport has declared a local state of disaster due based on the threat of large wildfires in Navarro County due to drought, windy, and hot conditions.
An order has been issued banning the sale of "restricted fireworks" as noted in the order and the use of ALL fireworks. This order also bans all outdoor burning. Please visit our website at www.navarrocountyoem.org for details regarding this declaration and order.
NOTE: This order covers the unincorporated areas of Navarro County. This does not cover the incorporated cities unless they choose to enact a similar restriction. Check with your City if you have questions on what is and what is not allowed.
The Navarro County Sheriffs Office requests that residents refrain from calling 911 unless a fire is observed or there is an emergency. Any other reports would go to 9036543001. Thank you.
