The Sheriffs' Association of Texas 150th Anniversary Meeting

Today I was honored to be a part of true Texas history. The Sheriffs' Association of Texas met for the first time on August 14, 1874, in the Navarro County Courthouse in Corsicana and today I was proud to be the host for today's 150th Anniversary of that meeting.

Sheriff's both past and present from across Texas came in and attended today's meeting and later gathered for a photo outside on the steps of the Navarro County Courthouse.

The Sheriffs' Association of Texas is one of the oldest law enforcement associations in the nation and I feel very fortunate to have gotten to be a part of today's historic event.
