NCSO Recovered Stolen Equipment

Today, November 12th, NCSO Deputies were dispatched to SW 2360 in reference to a stolen track loader. The owner of the machine had made a theft report through the Dallas County Sheriff's Office as well as had tracked the stolen unit to the location. He advised his machine could be seen in an open field from the roadway and recovered his stolen machine from the location prior to Deputies arrival. He informed the deputies there were a few other machines next to his that could have possibly been stolen as well.
Deputies arrived at the property, observed and recovered the following equipment:
•Kubota skid steer that was reported stolen in 2022. The machine was reported stolen through the Dallas Police Department.
•John Deere bulldozer that was reported stolen in 2023. The machine was reported stolen through the Wood County Sheriff's Office.
•The 2006 Caterpillar Track loader was recovered by the owner.
Total value of the recovered stolen equipment is $121,500.00
There were no suspects on or around the property at the time of discovery. This case remains under investigation.
