SCAM ALERT:

We have received numerous calls today that someone is making random phone calls throughout the county identifying himself as a Navarro County Sheriff's Office Detective.

The scammer states to contact the Sheriffs Office immediately in reference to an arrest warrant.

The phone number for the caller has been reported as 430-775-7025.

The number provided is not an NCSO phone number.

Please do not become a victim of these scammers.

Always call, verify and make sure to report any and all suspicious activity to your local law enforcement.

The NCSO does not call to solicit money.
